Sure doesn't seem like three years since we blogged about Guy Fawkes Day, but it is so.We've made some changes over the past couple of days, no doubt all three of you noticed. We're going to put some serious effort into keeping Gateway Groupies interesting. This will last for at least a week or so, then I'll see something shiny and dart off again. Or maybe not! What with all these fascinating events going on this weekend, I declare there will be blog fodder for months.
Friday is the 7th Annual Midwest Assorted Produce Snuff Shorts Film Triennial, and it's first Friday at the galleries downtown. Saturday, we're finally gonna get to see Where the Wild Things Are, and Sunday is the 6th Annual 52nd City Kick Ass Awards ceremony!
In the month of November, we'll also cover a River Styx reading at Duff's, the Poetry Scores Art Invitational, a concert at The Way Out, and a pre-thanksgiving dinner, or We Are Awesome Day at the Dill-Marschik house, all before we head to Atlanta for our annual pilgrimage to see the family.
So don't give up on us yet, we're the best sporadic blog outfit in St. Louis three years running, and we're just getting started.
